it's not much to look at now..and i will do something to better display it (lighting was bad, and i was barely awake this morning)...but, this is the next drawing on my list!

materials so far:

2h mechanical
willow charcoal sticks
ruler
strathmore sketh paper (11x14)

Looks like it's going to be an adorable piece! If you do start over keep this piece for all your practice ideas. If I restart a picture (which I have done on many occasions!) I find the next one turns out even better than I could of imagined! I use the first one to try out how I am going to handle the fabric, bg, etc. along the way. Whatever you decide to do I know you will turn it into a great piece!

messed up last night, and started another picture altogether. oh well...that's life i guess. plus I'm moving to smaller paper with a different "tooth grade." I want to use more smooth paper. =)

and was soooo frustrated with it...i threw it away...the charcoal smeared all over...just been a frustrating time on it.

0h that's a shame - smoothish paper is good though - hence the popularity of bristol board!
